Queen are back in the charts!

FINALLY!
Queen are back in the charts!
Absolute Greatest is at number 7 this week and last week was at number 4!
How fantastic is that?!
Also, Sky Arts 1 has loads of Queen stuff on this week: Tribute Concert, Queen & Paul Rodgers, Montreal ...
AND Brian May is on the Alan Titchmarch show tomorrow (the 10th) - ITV1 3pm-4pm.
AND the Muppets version of Bohemian Rhapsody is set to be a contender for christmas number 1!
Sounds like December's gonna be good!

Hi!
Sorry I haven't written for ages! I've been SO busy!
I've just had exams so I've had loads of revision to do, but now they're over so I can go back to blogging.(Even though no one actually reads this stupid blog anyway!)
And for once I've actually got something rather amazing to say.
I'VE MET BRIAN MAY!
On Thursday the 19th, I went to Bradford to see his and Elena Vidal's talk on stereoscopic photography.(You know, they wrote that book...A Village Lost And Found)
And afterwards there was a book signing so I got my copy signed! And I got my photo taken with them! OMG!
It was brilliant!
Other than that, I don't really have much to say.
EXCEPT...
On Tuesday the 24th of November a Freddie Mercury Memorial is going to be opened in Feltham! How cool?!
Unfortunately, I can't go to see it because I live in the north. Shame-why is there barely anything interesting to do up here?!
Anyway, I'll probably write again soon

Just to let you know on the 2nd of september on the biography channel there are two Queen programmes.
First there is a new(ish) programme about Freddie Mercury and then straight afterwards there is a re-run of Queen in Budapest.
Another reminder that on the 4th of september there is the UK PREMIERE of Queen and Paul Rodgers-Let The Cosmos Rock (Live in Ukraine)
Also on the 5th and 6th of september there is the Freddie Mercury Memorial Day/Weekend in Montreux!
I would really like to go but unfortunately I can't.
Well there's always next year!

on the 25th of August, on Rockworld (sky 378), there is a repeat of Rick Wakeman interviewing Brian May - it's called Face To Face.
Also, on the 4th of September, on Sky Arts 1, there is the UK premiere of Queen + Paul Rodgers-Let The Cosmos Rock.
Just found out about these from various Queen sites and thought I'd let you know!

Made In Heaven-HIDDEN TRACKS!

WOW!
I bought the Made In Heaven album a few weeks ago but only found out about the UNTITLED HIDDEN TRACKS the other day-by accident!
Which was strange because I'd already listened to Made In Heaven without noticing the hidden tracks at all!
I don't know how I managed to not listen to them in the first place but I listened to the CD again and heard the hidden tracks!
They're absolutely FANTASTIC! One of them was only 4 seconds long and was just Freddie going "yeah!"
The other one was 22 minutes long and was brilliant!

ONOQ & WWRY

Hi people!

I'm absolutely shattered!

On the 19th I went to see One Night Of Queen (Gary Mullen & The Works).

One word- FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not joking, those guys were AMAZING! I recomend that you go and see them. NOW!

Yesterday (the 27th) I went to see WWRY at the Sunderland Empire. It was BRILLIANT! Absolutely amazing acting, singing and the set was fab!

I thought the band (who were out of sight for most of it playing the music) were fantastic! Really amazing.

WWRY's not at the Empire any more, I think it's moved on to Birmingham now.

Go and see it wherever it is!

That reminds me, I might add some more pictures to my blog soon (if I can find any decent ones that is!)
I might try to add a photo gallery if that is possible, but then again I've only just worked out how to add links to other websites!- my mastery of computers is sadly minimal!

Hello random people who might unwittingly stumble across my blog and have the attention span to read it
I'm in such a good mood - WWRY has come to Sunderland!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to see it and I cant wait!
I've just seen something about it on Look North. It had an interview with Brian May and was therefore the most interesting part of the program! Scrap swine flu stories, we want Queen!
I have just seen a newspaper cutting with a picture of Queen in the 70s and then I saw the interview! How times have changed!
Anyway, now I'm just babbling - still in a good mood though
I predict that this month's gonna be a good'un! Im going to see a Queen tribute band (One Night Of Queen) in York and then I'm going to WWRY in Sunderland! yey!

BGT-Barcelona

Did anyone see that Greg person on BGT last night?(the one who sang BOTH PARTS to Barcelona!)
He was AMAZING! I cant believe that he didnt get through to the final!
Personally i thought he was a better singer than that girl, but my opinion doesnt really matter
Was I the only one who thought he looked like that guy off American Idol? Seriously!
Anyway,
I've been editing my blog and have worked out how to put Queen video bar at the bottom!

Queen on American Idol

Woo Hoo!
Just watched American Idol (only watched it because of Queen!)
How OLD does Roger Taylor look! Old & grey! Brian May MUST dye his hair-no way is it actually still that colour.
I dunno who won, I wasnt paying attention after the queen bit finished!
I thought the guy with spiky black hair was a really good singer on We Are The Champions-I would actually listen to that!
Anyway I know no one ever reads this blog, I just use it to rant really!
I might put some more pics on soon-I've found a really great website!
